Introducing HostEd by Dapper Diplomat
We all need a little help with etiquette from time-to-time. Amirite? If you follow Dapper Diplomat, you know that modern etiquette is not just about how to set a beautiful place setting but making people feel comfortable on a day-to-day basis.
After attending The Protocol School of Washington, I had the idea to marry my love of modern etiquette and producing flawless weddings and events. Now, I am thrilled to introduce HostEd by Dapper Diplomat: an event planning etiquette tool.
So what is HostEd? How can It help you?
First and foremost, we want to clear the air. This is not a service of checklists and templates. No. Our objective is not to tell you what to do it, but HOW or WHY.
While HostEd strongly caters to weddings, it also provides answers to challenging etiquette situations that can be applied to other celebrations. Like hosting a holiday party for personal or business purposes, a birthday or retirement celebration, or private dinner.
Event planning is often about playing different roles… being a good host, a fiscally responsible representative of your company or personal bank account, and sometimes being the guest of honor. We want to help guide you to wear all of these hats comfortably. Because etiquette is truly about making others feel comfortable. No matter the guest count or location.
At HostEd there is no problem too large or small, because there are 3,000 micro-decisions you have to make when planning an event. We discuss topics ranging from the guest list, menu tasting, who / where to seat problematic attendees to name a few.. So whether you’re in the beginning stages of planning or stuck in the middle, we want to meet you wherever you are in your process.
As out treat, we want to share our first Webinar with you, our Dapper Diplomat family, via the link below complimentary.
